The Filmore Valley Boys started in July, 2001 on a front porch on Filmore Street in Raleigh, North Carolina.
They have entertained folks in the downtown area with their diverse mix of old and new tunes from the past two centuries. The band has played at coffee shops, clubs, cafés, bars, country clubs and Christmas parties.

They have also performed at several outdoor neighborhood events for Glenwood-Brooklyn, Boylan Heights, Mordecai, and Raleigh Parks and Recreation. The Filmore Valley Boys are also available for indoor and outdoor private parties.

Jon Hardee - Vocals and guitar

Anne Shamp - Fiddle

Barrett Panton - Mandolin

John Fried - Bass, fiddle and clawhammer banjo
